Flowers of British Poetry: consisting of fugitive and classical pieces of the best Poets of Great Britain. (Newcastle-on-Tyne: J. Mitchell, 1802)
Information about the collection: No preface or any related editorial apparatus; author names are not always given with the poem, though they may appear in the TOC and there are no headnotes or dates of birth-death. Poem titles in the TOC are flush left and the author names and page numbers are flush right. The title page is inscribed "Embellished with Seven beautiful Designs on Wood by Thomas and John Benwick"; the frontispiece is an engraving for C.Smith's "Elegy." The collection seems to be a good example of a miscellany.
