Literature in some way collected and anthologized under the rubric
of the "postcolonial," "anglophone," "commonwealth," or "world"
Notes about this page:
-
This page was contructed in 1996 and has not been updated since that time.
- Some of the volumes listed under "general collections and anthologies"
are of the encyclopedic or guide genre; they are included here because they,
too, have a distinct canonizing function. Also, because the process of collection
and canonization of "postcolonial literature" (it emerges, is made visible,
and known under many other names) is still very much underway, this list is
necessarily incomplete. Please mail me your suggestions for additions and
corrections. <raley@english.ucsb.edu>
