Participation in Course
     10% of final grade. More than two unexcused absences will result in a penalty. Repeated absences will result in failing the course.

4 out of 5 Scantron Tests
      40% of final grade. The best four out of five will be counted. In cases of emergencies, a missed test may be substituted for the dropped test.

Critical Paper
      15% of final grade. Late submissions will be penalized one 1/3 of a grade for every day late; after one week late papers will be penalized two full grades.

Film Analysis Paper
     15% of final grade. Late submissions will be penalized one 1/3 of a grade for every day late; after one week late papers will be penalized two full grades.

Scantron Final Exam
   20% of final grade.

All of the above requirements must be fulfilled in order to pass the course.
